MICHAELA HERRING

Assistant Director of Campus Services and Act Six

Student Life • Corban University

Michaela Herring grew up in Eugene Oregon, but just recently moved to Salem from Redding, CA. She graduated from Simpson University in 2018 with a Bachelors in Business Management, and then continued to work at her Alma Mater as the Conference Services Manager where she discovered her love for working with and developing college students. On mission trips, Michaela realized her enthusiasm and appreciation for understanding cultural differences when she traveled to Haiti and Taiwan to teach English and work with kids and young adults. Being a first-generation college graduate herself, her deepest dream of empowering and equipping multicultural and first-generation students with the skills to accomplish their own goals comes to fruition by working with the Act Six scholars. She is passionate about walking alongside young adults as they discover their truest identity in the Lord and the call He has on their lives.

Michaela is continuing her education by pursuing her MBA in Service leadership management, which she starts in January of 2021. She loves hiking, playing all sports, and enjoys sassing people daily.
