Melissa Stupfel

Advancement Project Coordinator

  • Melissa Stupfel’s extensive leadership experience, community-building expertise, and relationship-building skills inform her position as Advancement Project Coordinator. In her role she facilitates relationships, and creates and sustains donor satisfaction through a connection to the mission of Corban University.

  • Originally from Southern California, Stupfel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Biola University in 2012. She began working in development in 2013 as the Volunteer Resources Coordinator at the Orange County Rescue Mission in Tustin, CA. In this position, she cultivated relationships with individuals and groups spanning from large companies such as Coca-Cola and Pimco to the local girl scout troop.

  • Whether she was presenting to groups in the community or meeting with volunteers one-on-one, Stupfel enjoyed helping people connect with a mission they were passionate about: serving the least, the last and the lost of Orange County. In 2016, Stupfel and her husband Ethan relocated to Salem, Oregon where she joined the Advancement team at Corban University, initially working in donor development and events.

  • Stupfel loves spending time with her husband Ethan as they are beginning life as first-time parents. She also enjoys exploring the Oregon coast, drinking coffee, and hosting family and friends in their home.
